Getting into Enlightenment By Silencing Your Mind

I discover when many people get in to the forest this almost habitual method of looking at the planet is carried over. For the most part, when individuals go into nature for a hike they are going to be staring a few meters in front of them along the path they’re strolling down. And they miss out on a lot of what is happening about them. Lacking the feeling of what’s surrounding them in the wilderness.

To get a perception of being in a sense of enlightenment you can do a simple focusing exercise inside nature. For instance, while you look around, try and concentrate on one element inside nature for approximately two seconds. Then change your gaze and focus on an additional component for 2 seconds. And another for two seconds. Concentrating on the elements within nature both close to you and a long way away. Focusing for 2 seconds on an object after which shifting onto another object. Keep on doing this for a minute or so and notice how this feels.

You will probably notice a sense of tension within your mind and that it takes quite intense effort to become continually concentrating on objects inside nature. The reason for this is that around one third of our brain is equipped to interpret the visual perceptions that we are taking in. And it is known that we use as much power once we are pondering as when we are strolling, no surprise it requires some effort to be continuously targeted within this method of taking a look at the planet.

However indigenous individuals possess a completely different and more relaxed way of taking a look at the planet. Within this mode they are able to absorb a great deal more of their surroundings. Instead of becoming targeted on 1 location, they instead take in a bigger realm of vision.

They spend about 90% of their time being within their peripheral vision and only around 10% of the time seeing the world in focused eyesight. This enables them to understand a larger visual field and take in more motion. Taking in more of one’s surroundings by utilizing your peripheral eyesight doesn’t use as a lot of work because the continual concentrating we are taught in modern civilization.

In order to go into your peripheral eyesight and drop into a state of enlightenment, first of all pick a point towards the horizon which you really feel drawn to. Then instead of concentrating on that location, consciously relax your facial muscles, particularly the muscles around your eyes. Let the stress inside your facial muscle tissues to drop towards the floor. As your facial muscle tissues unwind your gaze will naturally begin to melt. Allow your gaze to melt on that location you had been drawn to. You will then begin to go into peripheral eyesight while you relax your facial muscle tissues and soften your gaze.

Learn exactly how you can find internal peace and enlightenment within the wilderness.

How to Deepen Your Meditation To connect With your Earth

During your meditation then the next step is to open up your eyes to look at the object again. You’ll likely discover there are a few components in the object which you didn’t pick up the very first time around. Consciously intend to search for these nuances you might have missed. Try to take a look at the things in the object that almost all normal people would not see. Start to look for all of the ‘uninteresting’ parts in the object and then start to bring them into your consciousness.

As soon as you’ve studied the object again, then gently shut your eyes and once more see the object in your mind’s eye. Begin with what you know about the object and then attempt to add various layers to it. Try to see as much detail as you can within your mind’s eye.

Then whenever you feel you’ve seen as much depth in your mind’s eye as you possibly can, next open up your eyes and once more and study the object for particulars you may have missed. Then shut your eyes again and see what you can see inside your mind’s eye. Doing this detailed inspection of the object, closing your eyes and viewing it inside your mind’s eye strengthens your inner vision. You can use this method throughout your day whenever you get the chance to reinforce your inner vision even more.

After a certain time period of meditation you will have the ability to see objects inside your mind’s eye whilst having your eyes open. I’ll speak much more about it inside a later chapter but this is when you start unlifting the veil into the other world past the one which we normally see. Nevertheless, within a few months of practicing to see objects inside your mind’s eye you’ll probably discover your internal eyesight has become fairly powerful.

Now that you’ve learnt how you can see more powerfully inside your mind’s eye, attempt to create an image inside your mind of the location you’re feeling drawn to in nature to go on your heart stroll.

Performing this visualization prior to going to your spot begins to form a link with the land. Similar to just before when you go to see a buddy, you will probably see them inside your mind’s eye and reflect on experiences you have had together and feel closer to them. Likewise when beginning to connect in to the land. You are forming a more powerful link with the land by visualizing what it is like being there. You are starting to set up an energy with the land.

You are able to also do the same together with your listening as well. Prior to heading towards the location of my heart walk, I spend some time listening to what it’s like being there. I picture what the birds will sound like. I picture what the rustle of the wind within the leaves sounds like. And I picture what the sounds of the ground tends to make underneath my feet while I walk through the bush. Like I am imagining in my mind’s eye not only what I am viewing at the place I am drawn to but also what I’m hearing.

Meditation: these methods allow you to speak directly with the land.

Enlightenment: Listening To the Gentle Voice Inside Your Nature

Nevertheless indigenous people were more heightened to the feeling of enlightenment. Our sense of taste can help us to become aware of what vegetation not to eat. For example, generally most of the poisonous vegetation taste bitter. Not only did indigenous people use their perception of flavour to locate foods that could be toxic, they also took the time to honor and experience the subtle flavors inside the meals. A heightened sense of taste inside every mouthful.

The way in which to heighten your sense of flavour would be to firstly place your consciousness and attention on your delicate flavors already within your mouth. Perhaps you can taste delicate flavors from your last night’s supper. Or perhaps you are able to sense the remnants of all the flavors left over from breakfast. First of all just place your focus and awareness on your flavors currently inside your mouth.

If you can’t detect any delicate flavors within your mouth, find some thing inside nature that you are drawn to that you know is safe and will not poison you to taste. Maybe this is some bark, or perhaps a lifeless leaf or maybe even to lick a stone. Whatever the component is, merely put a small bit of it within your mouth and begin to start to be aware of the tastes.

To be able to heighten your sense of enlightenment it first of all will help to close your eyes so that your primary sense, the sense of eyesight is turned off. This allows you to have more attention to put onto your sense of taste.

Next notice how the taste tastes on the left part of your tongue. And the way this tastes different towards the flavour on your right of your tongue. Similarly with the front of one’s tongue. Along with the back part of one’s tongue. Likewise notice how the flavour underneath your tongue tastes different to the tastes on all of the other parts of your tongue.

While you are being using the flavour inside your mouth, you are able to naturally flow in between every part of one’s tongue that you are sensing drawn to tasting. Becoming conscious of how each component of your tongue is tasting the taste inside your mouth. Like a dance, dancing from one component of one’s tongue to the upcoming one. Being with the flavour inside every of these components of your tongue.

After you have been using the taste, you are able to then visit another element you realize is safe and is drawing you to perceive it and do the same physical exercise. Being with the unique tastes about your tongue. The small nuances of the tastes within your mouth.

You can discover a perception of enlightenment within the city with these techniques.

How you can Discover Inner Peace By Staring At Flowers

This state of no stress and inner peace within either your body and thoughts permits for a deeper connection with the land.

To connect even further to the land around me I will spend a little of time doing the tree meditation. To complete the tree meditation I will shut my eyes and place my attention and awareness on the bottom of my feet. For example, if I am standing on sand next to the seaside I’ll really feel what the sand is like next to the pores and skin on the soles of my feet. I’ll feel the delicate textures and how the tiny grains of sand are touching next to my skin. Or when the sand is wet how the wetness of the sand feels next to the skin at the bottom of my feet.

Or perhaps if I’m standing on dry sticks and leaves, I’ll really feel what it is like to have a few of the sharp twigs push against and dig in to the skin on the soles of my feet. Feeling the subtle nuances of the textures against the soles of my feet. How my forefeet feels in contrast to exactly where my heel touches the earth. Compared to the arches of my feet. Sensing the contact of my feet against the earth.

Once you are aware of this contact and have spent a couple of moments sensing and connecting with your sensations against the soles of one’s feet, you can then picture what it is like to shoot roots down along your feet. Much like how a tree experiences the earth. Picture what it’s like to send roots down past the topsoil, through the underlying clay layers, around the rocks inside the earth beneath your feet until you reach the bed rock beneath where you’re standing.

Really feel how it is to be linked to the earth below. Roots sent deeply into the earth. Really feel the solidness of this. The groundedness of being rooted within the earth. Much as you imagine a tree feels.

When you have explored this experience of becoming grounded by sending roots down underneath the soil layers, then place your attention onto the body. You’ll likely discover there’s a slight sway happening with your physique. Much like the way a tree will sway gently within the wind. Just be with this mild swaying and allow your body to sway and gently move the way in which it moves. Getting in synch with the groundedness of the root connection of the earth, and becoming the swaying link up in the sky. Connecting to the earth below and connecting with the sky above. The strong rootedness and also the swaying sky link.

When in this state of inner peace you’ll notice there’s a center point. A location in your feeling that is at the middle of being grounded with the earth below and connected with the sky above. For many individuals this really is around their heart middle. Symbolically this level represents walking on the earthly plane. Strolling together with your heart along the earth whilst also getting grounded with the earth below and linked with the spirit of the sky overhead. Being within this center place whilst linked both overhead and below is a good spot to be in your heart stroll.

Discover how you can loosen up and encounter a level of inner peace inside your body.

Dropping Into Relaxation To attach With Nature

Apart from putting your consciousness and attention on the tactile sensations of your outer skin whilst in a feeling of relaxation, another method to heighten this perception would be to really feel the objects and components of nature about you. Simply find an element of nature that you really feel drawn to. Whether that is a rock, or perhaps a tree, or a branch, some soil or maybe a leaf. Then slowly rub your finger tips against this object and notice the way it feels.

You’ll likely also notice the slower you bring your finger tips around this object then the greater you’ll really feel within your tactile sense. If you run your fingers gradually against this object you then will become aware of a great deal more textures. You’ll be much more conscious of how that object feels in the event you run your fingers gradually over it. Going slowly permits you to be with much more of all the way the object feels with the tips of your fingers.

Then discover how the object feels along the palm of one’s hand and how uniquely this feels with the sensation along your finger tips. Once more, go gradually and you will discover that you pick up a lot more of all the sensations. A great deal more of the feeling against the skin.

Next attempt different components of one’s body. Gradually rub your cheek along the object and notice how this feels along the skin in your cheek. When you have chosen a tree with rough bark you will probably know why cats prefer to rub their cheeks along sticks in the event you do that.

Likewise with the back of your elbow. How does the object you have been drawn to feel against the rear of your elbow? Along the rear of one’s hand? How about across the front of your knee? And the back of one’s neck? What about on the soles of one’s foot? Just discover how this object feels against different parts of your body as you move these parts slowly against it. Explore the object with different components of one’s skin.

You will probably discover that you get to gather up a great deal more depth concerning the object you are with by sensing it with unique parts of your skin. That you will pick up a lot more textures and develop a nearer link to the object you are with.

Just after you’ve been with the object while feeling a sense of relaxation and heightened your sense of tactile touch you are able to then go for your wander and notice how it feels as you naturally get drawn to the unique textures about you. Go on the sensation walk wherever you’re feeling drawn. Going from element to element against nature, sensing on yourself the different sensations against the different parts your body as you go. Noticing how the leaves feel against your arms as they brush by. Noticing how the dry leaves feel along the soles of one’s foot. Noticing how the branches really feel along the brow of your head as they move through your hair.

Use as many relaxation methods within the wilderness as you possibly can in order to completely loosen up.
