Discovering Inner Peace In a Grain Of Sand

Heading off where you’re feeling drawn find a sense of inner peace and being with your sensations against your skin. Usually, the slower you wander on your sensation wander the more you’ll really feel. Almost being just like the delicate bill of a platypus. Moving slowly within the wilderness much the way a sloth moves gradually through the jungle. Feeling what there’s to really feel against your skin. Being with the sensations in your skin. Heightening the awareness of your tactile sensation. Discovering with your natural forms about you.

After you’ve been on your sensation walk, the final component to heighten your perception of sensing yourself is to start to be aware of the internal feelings going on inside your system. The first location to begin is with the bodily sensations inside your system.

This sense of inner peace is similar with your tactile sensing of yourself exercises we’ve just done. For instance, again scan through both your body and mind and start to be conscious of any tension saved inside your system. Then just like allowing a stone drop to the earth, permit the stress within both your body and mind drop towards the earth. This dropping of stress permits you to feel noticeably more inside.

Then place your awareness and attention on your inner sensations you really feel. Maybe you can begin to become conscious of how it feels to run the tip of one’s tongue along the roof of your mouth. Or maybe to notice how it feels against your throat to swallow a small part of saliva. Or how it feels inside your lungs as you breathe in air. Merely putting your consciousness in your throat while you swallow or your focus on the inside of your lungs as you breathe in.

Once more, the slower you do these the noticeably more you’ll really feel inside. Additionally, it will help to close your eyes as you do that since you will then possess a lot more focus and awareness to feel the inner sensations. Take your time and notice the unique textures within your system. Feeling the different textures on the inside of your system.

Similarly if you are much in a state of relaxation and no thoughts you can also put your attention on your physical heart and notice how it feels to beat. How each heart beat feels. Noticing and feeling the small nuances of your personal heart beat.

While you go further into your inner feelings and explore them you will also realize that one component will probably be calling for the focus more compared to the the others. Simply go to this place within and start to be aware of all the different textures of all the sensations. Start to be aware of the sensations in each moment happening to this place within your internal being.

Discover inner peace inside the wilderness and learn how you can let go of stress.

A Deep Rite Of Passage Allows you to Drop Into Insights Inside Nature

So the first step of a rite of passage would be to be aware of your voice inside your head. Simply close your eyes and start to be aware of the little voice within your head. Just now it may be saying ‘Little voice? What little voice? I do not possess a small voice!’ Congratulations, that’s the small voice.

While you start to be aware in the continuous chatter it tends to make, also become conscious in the pace it talks at. Start to be aware of the tempo, the tone and the volume it speaks at. As well as the words it uses. Simply start to be conscious of the small voice within your mind.

Personally I have labelled as my little voice ‘Ralph’. The reason is because it is like one of those small yappy canines that runs about in circles barking ‘ralph’, ‘ralph’, ‘ralph’. Perhaps you can relate?

However once you become conscious of your small voice within your mind on your rite of passage, rather than making yourself locked into what it’s saying, just deal with it like a little child. While you separate yourself from what the voice within your head is saying by treating it like a small kid, simply say to it ‘Thank you for sharing’.

As you say ‘thank you for sharing’ you will probably notice there is a little gap within the thoughts. That there is a small space in your mind. A gap.

Then this gap will most likely be filled by another thought form. So again, instead of making yourself locked into the concept, merely say ‘Thank you for sharing’ and notice the space within your consciousness.

While you apply saying ‘Thank you for sharing’ you’ll notice an area of ‘no thinking’ within your thoughts. It feels as if there is nothing going on within your thoughts. That it is empty. Now you can choose to locate your attention, your awareness on the area within your thoughts. Selecting to place your focus on the gap of no mind. If an additional thought arrives, then again say ‘thank you for sharing’ and again relax within the area of no thoughts. Putting your attention around the space inside your mind. Permitting the gap in between ideas to become longer. Placing your attention around the space of no thoughts. Placing your awareness in no mind.

It’s Ok to not think.

As you open up your eyes, start to become aware of your surroundings. Once more, if thoughts jump up about what you are viewing simply say ‘thank you for sharing’ and once more go into no thoughts. Putting your attention on the gap, on the space within your mind.

Discover how you can do your personal rite of passage immersed in the wilderness.

Meditation Is always the Key To Forming A Spiritual Connection With your Land

Utilizing this inner voice and having a spiritual experience you may also use it to ask questions of your heart. I find easy questions beginning with ‘What…’ have a tendency to work the best. For example you are able to inquire of your heart the subsequent questions:

‘What is it you want me to understand at this time?’ ‘What would you prefer me to be working on?’ ‘What are you currently seeking to inform me?’

Occasionally merely inquiring ‘What?’ of one’s heart is all you should aim to find out. It is more about setting the intention of wanting to tap in to the wisdom within your heart and what it desires to tell with you.

Then it’s just a point of listening to your heart. When speaking with your heart it is a lot more about listening rather than talking. Similar to being or playing with a shy child. In the event you are quiet and gentle and permit them time and space then they’ll start to normally interact with you.

Similar with listening with your heart, be gentle and listen.

The voice of the heart is quiet. The voice of the heart is gentle. The voice of the heart speaks a couple of phrases at a time. The voice in the heart uses easy words. It has a slower rhythm. An endless wisdom.

So when wanting to communicate to your heart, first of all place your attention in your heart middle. I usually find touching the middle of my breast bone assists. Then set your intention to connect together with your heart and simply ask a ‘What’ question with your inner voice. Then just listen to the answers out of your heart. Through your imagination. The language of the soul. Imagining what your heart contributes back to you. For the imagination is real once the voice of your heart rings accurately.

Once you have listened to your heart, always thank it for the knowledge. Thank it for speaking with you. I find it’s good to also inquire if it too has any questions of me. If there is something it desires to know. Let your heart to realize that you’ll carry on to keep asking it for advice. For no matter what happens your heart will usually win.

After you have listened to your heart, it’s vital to adhere to it’s advice. In spite of what your thoughts thinks about the messages that arrive from your heart, adhere to the guidance. For the heart has it’s logic of which reason knows nothing. Mere logic largely can’t make use of. I discover it’s generally in retrospect the mind starts to see the knowledge within the guidance of the heart long after the choice has been made.

Meditation is always the key to forming a spiritual relationship with your land.

Getting into Enlightenment By Silencing Your Mind

I discover when many people get in to the forest this almost habitual method of looking at the planet is carried over. For the most part, when individuals go into nature for a hike they are going to be staring a few meters in front of them along the path they’re strolling down. And they miss out on a lot of what is happening about them. Lacking the feeling of what’s surrounding them in the wilderness.

To get a perception of being in a sense of enlightenment you can do a simple focusing exercise inside nature. For instance, while you look around, try and concentrate on one element inside nature for approximately two seconds. Then change your gaze and focus on an additional component for 2 seconds. And another for two seconds. Concentrating on the elements within nature both close to you and a long way away. Focusing for 2 seconds on an object after which shifting onto another object. Keep on doing this for a minute or so and notice how this feels.

You will probably notice a sense of tension within your mind and that it takes quite intense effort to become continually concentrating on objects inside nature. The reason for this is that around one third of our brain is equipped to interpret the visual perceptions that we are taking in. And it is known that we use as much power once we are pondering as when we are strolling, no surprise it requires some effort to be continuously targeted within this method of taking a look at the planet.

However indigenous individuals possess a completely different and more relaxed way of taking a look at the planet. Within this mode they are able to absorb a great deal more of their surroundings. Instead of becoming targeted on 1 location, they instead take in a bigger realm of vision.

They spend about 90% of their time being within their peripheral vision and only around 10% of the time seeing the world in focused eyesight. This enables them to understand a larger visual field and take in more motion. Taking in more of one’s surroundings by utilizing your peripheral eyesight doesn’t use as a lot of work because the continual concentrating we are taught in modern civilization.

In order to go into your peripheral eyesight and drop into a state of enlightenment, first of all pick a point towards the horizon which you really feel drawn to. Then instead of concentrating on that location, consciously relax your facial muscles, particularly the muscles around your eyes. Let the stress inside your facial muscle tissues to drop towards the floor. As your facial muscle tissues unwind your gaze will naturally begin to melt. Allow your gaze to melt on that location you had been drawn to. You will then begin to go into peripheral eyesight while you relax your facial muscle tissues and soften your gaze.

Learn exactly how you can find internal peace and enlightenment within the wilderness.

How to Deepen Your Meditation To connect With your Earth

During your meditation then the next step is to open up your eyes to look at the object again. You’ll likely discover there are a few components in the object which you didn’t pick up the very first time around. Consciously intend to search for these nuances you might have missed. Try to take a look at the things in the object that almost all normal people would not see. Start to look for all of the ‘uninteresting’ parts in the object and then start to bring them into your consciousness.

As soon as you’ve studied the object again, then gently shut your eyes and once more see the object in your mind’s eye. Begin with what you know about the object and then attempt to add various layers to it. Try to see as much detail as you can within your mind’s eye.

Then whenever you feel you’ve seen as much depth in your mind’s eye as you possibly can, next open up your eyes and once more and study the object for particulars you may have missed. Then shut your eyes again and see what you can see inside your mind’s eye. Doing this detailed inspection of the object, closing your eyes and viewing it inside your mind’s eye strengthens your inner vision. You can use this method throughout your day whenever you get the chance to reinforce your inner vision even more.

After a certain time period of meditation you will have the ability to see objects inside your mind’s eye whilst having your eyes open. I’ll speak much more about it inside a later chapter but this is when you start unlifting the veil into the other world past the one which we normally see. Nevertheless, within a few months of practicing to see objects inside your mind’s eye you’ll probably discover your internal eyesight has become fairly powerful.

Now that you’ve learnt how you can see more powerfully inside your mind’s eye, attempt to create an image inside your mind of the location you’re feeling drawn to in nature to go on your heart stroll.

Performing this visualization prior to going to your spot begins to form a link with the land. Similar to just before when you go to see a buddy, you will probably see them inside your mind’s eye and reflect on experiences you have had together and feel closer to them. Likewise when beginning to connect in to the land. You are forming a more powerful link with the land by visualizing what it is like being there. You are starting to set up an energy with the land.

You are able to also do the same together with your listening as well. Prior to heading towards the location of my heart walk, I spend some time listening to what it’s like being there. I picture what the birds will sound like. I picture what the rustle of the wind within the leaves sounds like. And I picture what the sounds of the ground tends to make underneath my feet while I walk through the bush. Like I am imagining in my mind’s eye not only what I am viewing at the place I am drawn to but also what I’m hearing.

Meditation: these methods allow you to speak directly with the land.
