Why You Should Start Planning Your Party Early

There are quite a few opportunities to give a party during the year what with birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Year, Independence Day et cetera, et cetera, but every party has one thing in common, they all have to be planned and the sooner that that planning is started the better.

There are good reasons for starting your planning early. Things can go wrong and individuals can let you down, but if you begin planning early, you can switch to ‘plan B’ easily. You may also have ideas as you are performing your planning and then you will have time to implement them.

Depending on what kind of party you are planning, you might have to begin planning about a month ahead, but you might have to begin even earlier, if you need outside catering or specialized items such as a bouncy house. You may have to book these items months in advance in order to get precisely what food you want or the theme of the bouncy house that you want.

Depending on where you are holding the party and how many are coming, you might also have to get permission or even a license and you might even need portable toilets as well. How about security and sign posts? For instance, it is fairly standard for organizers of wedding parties in rural Thailand to employ security, who will also provide road signs and will direct traffic.

Another good reason for planning early is that you can purchase objects that you need weekly and so spread the cost. You could purchase the paper plates, plastic knives, forks and spoons, plastic beakers, straws and paper table cloths in the first week, the other items you need, such as the drinks, crisps and biscuits, in the following weeks, until all you have to purchase in the week of the party is the perishable food such as sausage rolls, pies, pasties, sandwiches and cakes.

You may also need specialized decorations, particularly for themed birthday parties, Halloween and Christmas. Buying the correct decorations for these kinds of parties can take a while, which is another reason for beginning your planning earlier rather than later.

Another decent reason for getting going early is that you can get the invitations out early, which gives your guests the chance to put you in their diaries. It also gives them lots of time to accept or refuse the invitation so that you can either invite more people to make the numbers up or you can inform the caterers that you will require less food.

It is a sad fact that in spite of all your planning, some facets will go wrong, they always do and you will forget some things as well, people always do and the best precautions against these potential calamities are firstly to begin planning early and secondly to get a few people involved in the planning, because as they say, two heads are better than one.

Stick Insects

Stick insects have quite a few names. First of all the order to which they belong is called either Phasmatodea or Phasmida. Then they are known as stick insects in Europe and Australasia, but walking sticks or stick-bugs in America and Canada. Some also go by the name of phasmids, leaf insects and ghost insects.

Needless to say, most of them look like twigs, sticks or leaves. Most stick insects come from South East Asia, but they are abundant in many tropical climates including Australia and the southern states of America. Most of the stick insects that are kept as pets are Indian (or Laboratory) stick insects and they grow to around four inches long and live for about a year.

There are very exotic species of stick insect like the Vietnamese thorny stick insect and the pink-winged flying stick insect, but they are more difficult to look after. It is better to begin with the Indian common form. They will live fairly happily in a vivarium, which is an aquarium for reptiles and insects.

Except for providing fresh food and water from time to time and taking out old food, there is no maintenance needed for these animals. They will require a relatively warm climate but that is not difficult to arrange with a heater, a thermostat and a timer.

Food is not difficult for common stick insects, The most common foods given are privet and lettuce, but they also like ivy, oak, bramble, blueberry and raspberry. You have to put enough of these plants in the vivarium to provide cover for the residents so that they do not feel out in the open and at risk but not so much that you never get sight of them.

Make sure that there are lots of air holes in the vivarium, but for the sake of security, they ought to be covered with fly screen or netting, because these creatures can wriggle through small openings. The tanks ought to be kept at 70F during the day and 60F at night with moderate humidity. They may be permitted to forage for food at will, but be careful that the water supply is very shallow, because they been known to drop in and drown.

You will be surprised to discover that the overwhelming majority of Indian stick insects are female, but that they do not require a male to have fertile eggs. Young are capable of laying eggs after their sixth moult, all of which moults they consume. Stick insects can lay hundreds of eggs which just drop down among the leaf litter on the floor of the vivarium.

If you want to hatch them out, spray a little water on them to simulate light rain and they should hatch. If you do not want to be troubled with them, burn the contents of the tank after the last adult has passed away. You might need a permit to keep stick insects, especially in the United States..

Discovering Inner Peace In a Grain Of Sand

Heading off where you’re feeling drawn find a sense of inner peace and being with your sensations against your skin. Usually, the slower you wander on your sensation wander the more you’ll really feel. Almost being just like the delicate bill of a platypus. Moving slowly within the wilderness much the way a sloth moves gradually through the jungle. Feeling what there’s to really feel against your skin. Being with the sensations in your skin. Heightening the awareness of your tactile sensation. Discovering with your natural forms about you.

After you’ve been on your sensation walk, the final component to heighten your perception of sensing yourself is to start to be aware of the internal feelings going on inside your system. The first location to begin is with the bodily sensations inside your system.

This sense of inner peace is similar with your tactile sensing of yourself exercises we’ve just done. For instance, again scan through both your body and mind and start to be conscious of any tension saved inside your system. Then just like allowing a stone drop to the earth, permit the stress within both your body and mind drop towards the earth. This dropping of stress permits you to feel noticeably more inside.

Then place your awareness and attention on your inner sensations you really feel. Maybe you can begin to become conscious of how it feels to run the tip of one’s tongue along the roof of your mouth. Or maybe to notice how it feels against your throat to swallow a small part of saliva. Or how it feels inside your lungs as you breathe in air. Merely putting your consciousness in your throat while you swallow or your focus on the inside of your lungs as you breathe in.

Once more, the slower you do these the noticeably more you’ll really feel inside. Additionally, it will help to close your eyes as you do that since you will then possess a lot more focus and awareness to feel the inner sensations. Take your time and notice the unique textures within your system. Feeling the different textures on the inside of your system.

Similarly if you are much in a state of relaxation and no thoughts you can also put your attention on your physical heart and notice how it feels to beat. How each heart beat feels. Noticing and feeling the small nuances of your personal heart beat.

While you go further into your inner feelings and explore them you will also realize that one component will probably be calling for the focus more compared to the the others. Simply go to this place within and start to be aware of all the different textures of all the sensations. Start to be aware of the sensations in each moment happening to this place within your internal being.

Discover inner peace inside the wilderness and learn how you can let go of stress.

A Deep Rite Of Passage Allows you to Drop Into Insights Inside Nature

So the first step of a rite of passage would be to be aware of your voice inside your head. Simply close your eyes and start to be aware of the little voice within your head. Just now it may be saying ‘Little voice? What little voice? I do not possess a small voice!’ Congratulations, that’s the small voice.

While you start to be aware in the continuous chatter it tends to make, also become conscious in the pace it talks at. Start to be aware of the tempo, the tone and the volume it speaks at. As well as the words it uses. Simply start to be conscious of the small voice within your mind.

Personally I have labelled as my little voice ‘Ralph’. The reason is because it is like one of those small yappy canines that runs about in circles barking ‘ralph’, ‘ralph’, ‘ralph’. Perhaps you can relate?

However once you become conscious of your small voice within your mind on your rite of passage, rather than making yourself locked into what it’s saying, just deal with it like a little child. While you separate yourself from what the voice within your head is saying by treating it like a small kid, simply say to it ‘Thank you for sharing’.

As you say ‘thank you for sharing’ you will probably notice there is a little gap within the thoughts. That there is a small space in your mind. A gap.

Then this gap will most likely be filled by another thought form. So again, instead of making yourself locked into the concept, merely say ‘Thank you for sharing’ and notice the space within your consciousness.

While you apply saying ‘Thank you for sharing’ you’ll notice an area of ‘no thinking’ within your thoughts. It feels as if there is nothing going on within your thoughts. That it is empty. Now you can choose to locate your attention, your awareness on the area within your thoughts. Selecting to place your focus on the gap of no mind. If an additional thought arrives, then again say ‘thank you for sharing’ and again relax within the area of no thoughts. Putting your attention around the space inside your mind. Permitting the gap in between ideas to become longer. Placing your attention around the space of no thoughts. Placing your awareness in no mind.

It’s Ok to not think.

As you open up your eyes, start to become aware of your surroundings. Once more, if thoughts jump up about what you are viewing simply say ‘thank you for sharing’ and once more go into no thoughts. Putting your attention on the gap, on the space within your mind.

Discover how you can do your personal rite of passage immersed in the wilderness.

Meditation Is always the Key To Forming A Spiritual Connection With your Land

Utilizing this inner voice and having a spiritual experience you may also use it to ask questions of your heart. I find easy questions beginning with ‘What…’ have a tendency to work the best. For example you are able to inquire of your heart the subsequent questions:

‘What is it you want me to understand at this time?’ ‘What would you prefer me to be working on?’ ‘What are you currently seeking to inform me?’

Occasionally merely inquiring ‘What?’ of one’s heart is all you should aim to find out. It is more about setting the intention of wanting to tap in to the wisdom within your heart and what it desires to tell with you.

Then it’s just a point of listening to your heart. When speaking with your heart it is a lot more about listening rather than talking. Similar to being or playing with a shy child. In the event you are quiet and gentle and permit them time and space then they’ll start to normally interact with you.

Similar with listening with your heart, be gentle and listen.

The voice of the heart is quiet. The voice of the heart is gentle. The voice of the heart speaks a couple of phrases at a time. The voice in the heart uses easy words. It has a slower rhythm. An endless wisdom.

So when wanting to communicate to your heart, first of all place your attention in your heart middle. I usually find touching the middle of my breast bone assists. Then set your intention to connect together with your heart and simply ask a ‘What’ question with your inner voice. Then just listen to the answers out of your heart. Through your imagination. The language of the soul. Imagining what your heart contributes back to you. For the imagination is real once the voice of your heart rings accurately.

Once you have listened to your heart, always thank it for the knowledge. Thank it for speaking with you. I find it’s good to also inquire if it too has any questions of me. If there is something it desires to know. Let your heart to realize that you’ll carry on to keep asking it for advice. For no matter what happens your heart will usually win.

After you have listened to your heart, it’s vital to adhere to it’s advice. In spite of what your thoughts thinks about the messages that arrive from your heart, adhere to the guidance. For the heart has it’s logic of which reason knows nothing. Mere logic largely can’t make use of. I discover it’s generally in retrospect the mind starts to see the knowledge within the guidance of the heart long after the choice has been made.

Meditation is always the key to forming a spiritual relationship with your land.
